Volume99 is a forward-thinking and innovative Digital Marketing company that is dedicated to creating engaging and entertaining short-form video content.

As a Content Creator/Video Editor – you will be responsible for crafting visually captivating and attention-grabbing videos for our social media channels, with a primary focus on Reels and TikTok.

Your role will be essential in enhancing our brand’s online presence, attracting new audiences, and fostering engagement with our existing followers.

NOTE: You will not be required to be IN the videos – rather editing the videos

Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Using raw video footage from our clients and creatively editing it into compelling short-form videos optimized for Reels and TikTok.
• Storytelling: Utilize your storytelling skills to condense and communicate engaging narratives within the limited time constraints of short-form videos.
• Visual Effects and Transitions: Enhance videos with eye-catching visual effects, transitions, and animations to make the content visually appealing and dynamic.
• Music and Audio Integration: Choose appropriate background music, sound effects, and audio enhancements to complement and elevate the video content.
• Text and Graphics: Incorporate on-screen text and graphics to convey messages effectively and make videos more shareable and informative.
• Platform Optimization: Understand the unique requirements and best practices for Reels and TikTok, such as video duration, aspect ratios, and content styles, to maximize reach and engagement.
• Stay Updated on Trends: Stay current with the latest trends, styles, and features on Reels and TikTok to create content that resonates with our target audience.
• Performance Analysis: Monitor the performance of videos and analyze engagement metrics to optimize future content for better audience response.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: R12,857.42 – R22,000.00 per month
